The Darien House Tour: Homes with Heart supports ...
The tour supports nearly 20 local nonprofits that serve the disadvantaged, our youth and elderly. Each year, a lead beneficiary is chosen to receive a larger portion of the funds. This year the committee has chosen two lead beneficiaries: ABC in Darien and Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants.
Other beneficiaries include: ABC House, At Home in Darien, Building One Community, Carver Foundation of Norwalk, Child Guidance Center of Southern CT, Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants, Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County, Inspirica, Laurel House, Liberation Programs, New Covenant House, Open Door Shelter, Pacific House, Person-to-Person, STAR and The Rowan Center, the Thriving Youth Initiative of the Community Fund of Darien.
The Darien House Tour: Homes with Heart
is presented by The First Congregational Church. Each year, the church donates over $100,000 to local nonprofit organizations which serve our youth, the elderly and the disadvantaged. Since its inception, the tour has raised over $300,000 for our beneficiaries.
